My friend sent me an invitation to join this Plurk. I don't know why but i became really interested the moment i first viewed the site. It's not a blog, also not a "friendster-type" social network. It's simple. It works for me and i love it.

I have finally come to realize that this blog makes no sense. I blog but i do not broadcast about my blog. I keep it only to myself. I was considering dissolving this blog. Well, i still think online diary is much better than the old fashioned way to do this. Why? First, i just hate my handwriting. Second, nobody wants her parents to read her diary. It's really dangerous if they discovered your diary! Third, you might lose the notebook. The advantage of having your diary online is that it's accessible anywhere. So, i'm still gonna keep this! XD

July 5, 2008, a very memorable Saturday in my life. Not only was it my first time to enter the Araneta Coliseum and watch a live UAAP basketball game but it was also the perfect get-together with my highschool friends. After my last class, i rushed hurriedly to the LRT. We were supposed to meet somewhere in Gateway but they then proceeded to the venue because there was a very long line in the entrance, they said. As we entered, cheers from all 8 universities echoed throughout the dome. The loud rootings gave me this high feeling only to realize my school isn't part of that sports competition. I tried blending with all other universities - i was there to support UST because of my friends so i wore yellow - and sang along with their respective cheers. The first game was FEU vs AdU, the second was UE vs UST. i was cheering for AdU but FEU won the game; UST lost the game with UE.
I can say it's okay to have fun and let loose at moments like this. We were bored to tears at first then we saw ourselves giving all efforts to cheer. My friends even teased me about cheering too much for this certain university when i'm not even a student. I guess i got carried away. Just being with my highschool friends, Genekiames, as we call ourselves, is elated bliss. I look forward to having more golden memories with them.

Nakakatamad na magpost ng entry dito. Pinapagawan din kasi kami ng journal sa English kaya parang dun nalang ako naglalagay. Hmm, kaninang mga 11:00am ay nagkaroon ng sunog sa isang gusali ng aming mahal na paaralan. Ang chismis ay nagsimula ang apoy sa isang kwarto o bodega/stock room. Nakakagulat ang reaksyon ng mga tao. Mga higit benteng firetruck yata ang nagsipunta para isalba ang isang nasusunog na gusali. Mga firetruck mula pa sa iba't-ibang dako ng Maynila ang rumesponde. Anyway, umuwi din ako agad. Nagjeep hanggang Doroteo Jose at umakyat sa LRT line2. Laking gulat ko nang may nakita akong blockmate sa LRT! Ibig sabihin laman po nun ay may kablock akong malayo din ang tirahan. Halos magkalapit lang kami ng kinalalagyan; nakaupo ako at nakatayo naman siya. I was watching over him to know where he would drop off and i thought i lost him, but then i saw him get off on the same station as mine. We both went off at the last station, Santolan. I was really surprised! I asked some other blockmates if they know where this blockmate resides and they said he's from Marikina. So now i know i'm not the only one who comes to school from very far. But he's a non-paying student. When i saw in the station, i thought he'll go see his girlfriend or stuff like that. Well, wala lang. Gusto ko sabihin^^
